In Shrek the Third, players embark on an adventure as Shrek and his friends to save the Kingdom Beyond the Nine Mountains in a cheerfully tangled fairy tale based on the movie of the same name, but going even further. Fans play as their favorite movie heroes: Shrek, Donkey, Puss in Boots, Fiona, Fiona's rebellious cousin Arthur, and her fairy-tale companion and heroine, Sleeping Beauty. The game takes players on an epic journey through the world of Far Far Away after Prince Charming conquers the city with an army of villains to seize the throne. Players are challenged to rescue their friends, confront Prince Charming's followers, collect various items, test the characters' abilities in numerous main battles, and engage in a variety of games and mini-games.
