World War 2 military 3D action and the second installment of the series on PS2. The beginning of Rising Sun takes you to Pearl Harbor during the Japanese air raid. After that, things get moving and you take part in the battles of Guadalcanal, Singapore, the Philippines and Burma. Expect an impenetrable jungle full of mosquitoes and nasty surprises. There will even be a clash at the famous bridge over the River Kwai! Rising Sun offers ten missions that, on the one hand, are not meant to deviate significantly from the familiar framework of the past. So once again there will be frenetic shooting of a large squad of enemy soldiers, occasional stealth manoeuvres, and possibly some finesse associated with dressing up in uniform. But on the latter, it's worth noting that the game's areas are now much more open, the game finally has alternate routes through dangerous territories, and secondary quests have been added, but the most important one is the need to free your brother Donny from a Japanese prison camp.
