The eleventh Need for Speed: ProStreet is supposed to be much more realistic than its predecessors, and you can optionally turn off auxiliary systems like ABS. Cars will indeed have a more extensive damage model, but the initial three levels of damage won't be felt in any way when driving. You will receive medals for destroying specific parts of the car, similar to FlatOut. You'll get to drive licensed models from 28 automakers (Audi, Mazda, Honda returns), spanning from the 1960s to the present day. There will be fewer exotic cars, compared to Carbone there are only 8. Interestingly, there will be no power class divisions in the races, so you can pit differently powerful machines against each other (e.g. 70hp vs 400hp). You can tune your darlings even more precisely thanks to the extended AutoSculpt technology - offering 90 tuning points, 30 ways to configure them and over 1000 spare parts. A quartet of game modes includes closed circuits (ala TOCA Race Driver), skidding Drift, Speed Challenge with Police Radar (new to NFS but a familiar sight in other games) and Drag Racing on tracks scattered around the world. You won't have to compulsorily win all the races, just be first in the main qualifier.
