PS3 Portal 2 is a puzzle game based on physical principles, developed by Valve Corporation. The game was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows in April 2011. Portal 2 is a sequel to the first installment, Portal, which was originally part of The Orange Box compilation released in 2007.

Portal 2 presents players with a series of logic tasks and puzzles that require the use of a portal gun, which can create two connected portals on different surfaces. Players must use these portals to overcome various obstacles and progress through the game levels. The game emphasizes experimentation, problem solving, and creative thinking.

Portal 2 expands on the story and gameplay elements of the first game and introduces new characters, new tools, and expanded puzzle-solving options. The main character is once again Chell, who returns to the Aperture Science Enrichment Center, where she is guided by a new artificial intelligence companion named Wheatley. Together, they try to escape from the testing facility and defeat the main antagonist, GLaDOS, the artificial intelligence from the first game.

One of the biggest new features in Portal 2 is the two-player cooperative mode, in which players take on the roles of two robots, Atlas and P-Body. The cooperative mode includes its own series of puzzles and tasks that require cooperation and coordination between both players. This mode can be played locally using a split screen or online via the internet.
