The World Rally Championship is an officially licensed rally game from SONY and the first installment in the WRC series to hit the PS2 immediately after launch. The game features all the vehicles, drivers and tracks from the 2001 WRC Championship. Fight your way through 81 time trials in 14 world rally events spread across the globe. In total, the game offers 108 tracks, with fans, cameramen and wild animals around the tracks. Of course, detailed 3D cockpits and drivers are a feature. Each car has more than 40 elements on which its driving characteristics have been modelled. The vehicles are destructible and catch dust, mud and snow during the ride.
