Arrowiz

Arrowiz is a Taiwanese independent development studio founded in 2016 and based in Taipei. The studio specialises in narrative RPGs, visual novels and detective adventure games with a distinctive anime style. Their games combine compelling storytelling, original worlds and well-developed characters.

The studio’s first major success was the detective visual novel Hermitage: Strange Case Files, which combines the investigation of supernatural cases with horror elements and draws inspiration from the works of H. P. Lovecraft. Players solve mysterious events through deduction, gathering evidence and interviewing characters.

Arrowiz gained worldwide attention thanks to the RPG Mato Anomalies, set in the futuristic city of Mato. The game combines turn-based combat, city exploration, detective investigations and a story full of secrets, corporate conspiracies and supernatural phenomena. Distinctive anime-style graphics and cinematic storytelling are hallmarks of the studio.
