PS2 controllers

PS2 controllers (PlayStation 2 controllers) are game control devices designed for use with Sony PlayStation 2. This controller, officially called DualShock 2, is an enhanced version of the original DualShock controller for PlayStation 1.

PS2 controllers connect to the game console using a cable with a proprietary connector that allows for data transfer and power. During the lifetime of the PlayStation 2, third-party wireless controllers have also been created that connect via infrared or radio frequencies.
