Over the course of its history, it established itself as one of Canada’s largest independent video game developers and contributed to the development of titles for PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo GameCube, Wii, Nintendo DS, PC and other platforms.
The studio earned a reputation as a reliable partner to major publishers such as THQ, Ubisoft, Disney Interactive Studios, Activision, Sierra Entertainment and Capcom. It developed both its own projects and licensed games based on well-known films and television series.
The studio’s best-known titles include the horror adventure Monster House, the action shooter Wet, the darkly humorous action game Naughty Bear, the racing game Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Swamp, The Golden Compass, The Ant Bully, Iron Man, High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance!, Avatar: The Game and Wanted: Weapons of Fate. The studio also contributed to the development of several games in the Prince of Persia series and other major projects.
In 2010, the company changed its name to Behaviour Interactive, under which it operates to this day. Under the new brand, it has created a number of successful games, most notably the multiplayer horror title Dead by Daylight, which has become one of the most successful asymmetrical online titles of all time.
Thanks to its broad portfolio of games spanning many genres, Artificial Mind and Movement built a strong reputation in the games industry. Whether it was licensed film games, action-adventure titles or original projects, the studio was known for its high-quality technical execution and its ability to develop games for a wide range of gaming platforms.
