Asylum Entertainment

Asylum Entertainment was a British games development studio that focused primarily on console and computer games based on well-known television, film and children’s licences. Its portfolio included titles for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation, PC and other platforms.

The studio’s well-known projects include games set in the Doctor Who universe. For example, Asylum Entertainment developed Doctor Who: Return to Earth for the Nintendo Wii and Doctor Who: Evacuation Earth for the Nintendo DS. Both games are based on the popular British BBC sci-fi series and feature the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond.

The studio also focused heavily on games aimed at younger players. For example, it worked with the Peppa Pig brand, producing several simple titles centred on mini-games and activities inspired by the well-known animated series.
