Bend Studio

Bend Studio is an American game studio founded in 1993 and part of Sony Interactive Entertainment since 2000. The studio is based in Bend, Oregon, and has created a number of successful exclusive games for PlayStation platforms throughout its history.

The studio gained its greatest fame with the Syphon Filter series, which became one of the most successful action franchises on the original PlayStation. Players took on the role of agent Gabriel Logan, carrying out dangerous secret missions around the world and fighting against terrorist organizations and biological threats. The studio also contributed to the games Resistance: Retribution, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and several titles for the PSP and PlayStation Vita.

In 2019, Bend Studio released its most ambitious game to date, Days Gone, a vast open-world action-adventure. The story of biker Deacon St. John, set in a post-apocalyptic Oregon, won over millions of players thanks to its intense atmosphere, emotional narrative, and iconic hordes of infected enemies.

Games from Bend Studio are known for their emphasis on story, well-developed characters, open worlds, and intense action. Thanks to titles like Days Gone and Syphon Filter, the studio is an important part of the PlayStation Studios family, and its work holds a significant place in the history of PlayStation consoles.
