Billy Goat Entertainment is an independent games studio based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, founded in 2010. It specialises in original games characterised by distinctive humour, exaggeration and unusual gameplay mechanics. The studio develops games primarily for PC and games consoles.

One of the studio’s first notable projects was Her Majesty’s SPIFFING, a comedy point-and-click adventure released in 2016. Players set off into space with Captain Frank Lee English and his colleague Aled, with the aim of acquiring new planets for the Galactic British Empire. The game is built around British humour, satire and a parody of science fiction. It was also released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

The game Supermarket Shriek is particularly important for your catalogue. It is a zany arcade game in which a man and a goat ride through a supermarket in a shopping trolley, overcoming all manner of obstacle courses. An interesting feature is the unconventional control scheme – the game allows players to use their shouts via a microphone to control the trolley.

Supermarket Shriek offers both single-player and co-op gameplay and is built around short arcade levels, physics, obstacles and deliberately absurd situations. The game has been released for, amongst others, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

The studio’s more recent project is Parcel Corps, an action game centred on bicycle couriers. Players cycle through the city, delivering parcels, taking shortcuts and overcoming obstacles. Parcel Corps was released in 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Billy Goat Entertainment is characterised above all by its humour and unconventional game ideas. Thanks to titles such as Supermarket Shriek, Her Majesty’s SPIFFING and Parcel Corps, the studio has developed a distinctive style focused on light-hearted and original gaming experiences.
