Black Ops Entertainment

Black Ops Entertainment was an American video game development studio founded in 1994 in California. The studio specialized primarily in developing action games, first-person shooters, and platformers for consoles and personal computers. It reached the height of its popularity during the era of the first PlayStation console.

The studio’s best-known games include Alien Trilogy, Blade, Jersey Devil, Disney’s Treasures of the Deep, Spec Ops: Ranger Elite, Spec Ops II: Green Berets, and Contender. The studio collaborated with major publishers such as Acclaim Entertainment, Fox Interactive, Activision, Ripcord Games, and Take-Two Interactive.

Games from Black Ops Entertainment were known for their fast-paced gameplay, immersive atmosphere, and high-quality technical execution. In particular, Alien Trilogy became one of the highest-rated first-person shooters on the original PlayStation and is still considered a classic of the genre today.
