CCP Games is an Icelandic development studio founded in 1997 in Reykjavík. The studio specialises in online multiplayer games and sci-fi titles featuring vast open worlds. Thanks to its innovative approach and emphasis on a player-driven economy, it ranks among the leading developers of MMORPGs.

The studio achieved its greatest success with the legendary space MMORPG EVE Online, which was launched in 2003. In the game, players become spaceship pilots, trade, mine resources, build corporations, conduct diplomatic negotiations and take part in massive battles involving thousands of players simultaneously. Thanks to a single shared in-game galaxy and an economy driven by the players themselves, EVE Online has become one of the most unique online worlds in the history of video games.
