Danger Close Games

Danger Close Games was an American game development studio owned by Electronic Arts, which was formed in 2010 when EA Los Angeles was renamed. It focused primarily on developing modern military first-person shooter (FPS) games and worked closely with other EA studios.

The studio is best known for the games Medal of Honor (2010) and Medal of Honor: Warfighter (2012). These titles shifted the iconic series from a World War II setting to modern military conflicts and offered authentic missions inspired by real-life operations carried out by elite units from around the world.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter utilized the advanced Frostbite 2 engine, which delivered realistic graphics, high-quality sound effects, sophisticated animations, and dynamic battlefields. The game’s multiplayer mode allowed players to take on the roles of special forces from many countries, including the U.S. Navy SEALs, the British SAS, and the Polish GROM unit.

Although the studio Danger Close Games was shut down after the release of Medal of Honor: Warfighter in 2013, it left a significant mark on the history of military FPS games. The Medal of Honor series from this studio remains a favorite among fans of modern war action and realistic story-driven campaigns to this day.
