Deadbolt Interactive

Deadbolt Interactive is an independent development studio specialising in psychological and survival horror games, with a focus on atmosphere, tension and cinematic storytelling. The studio works with publisher Perp Games and concentrates on modern horror titles for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

The studio’s best-known game is Pneumata, a first-person psychological survival horror. As a detective, you investigate a series of mysterious disappearances in the Clover Hill apartment complex, whilst the line between reality and madness gradually blurs. The game combines environmental exploration, managing limited resources, puzzle-solving and intense encounters with terrifying creatures. Its atmosphere draws inspiration from classics of the genre, such as Resident Evil, Condemned and Lovecraftian horror.

This universe is continued in P1: Anchor Light, a psychological horror game set in a mysterious lighthouse, where players uncover further mysteries linked to the world of PARADISE. The studio has also created a shorter, experimental title, P0: Byte-Sized Brilliance, focused on searching for anomalies and building tension.

Deadbolt Interactive is making a name for itself thanks to its emphasis on a strong atmosphere, psychological horror and original gameplay mechanics. Their aim is to create intense horror experiences that rely more on tension and storytelling than on cheap jump scares.
