Eutechnyx
Eutechnyx was a British game studio founded in 1987 in Gateshead. For more than two decades, it specialized primarily in the development of racing games and car simulations, which helped it build a strong reputation among motorsports fans.
It achieved its greatest successes with the NASCAR, Supercar Challenge, and Big Mutha Truckers series. The studio was also behind the online racing game Auto Club Revolution, which featured licensed cars from prestigious automakers and extensive online racing options. In addition to its own brands, it collaborated with major publishers on the development of licensed racing titles for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC consoles.
Games from Eutechnyx focused on realistic handling, licensed tracks, and a wide selection of vehicles. The studio was able to offer both more accessible arcade-style racing games and more challenging simulations designed for experienced players. Thanks to this, it gained fans all over the world.
Throughout its history, Eutechnyx has collaborated with companies such as THQ, Deep Silver, Atari, Activision, and NASCAR. Their experience in developing racing games has resulted in a number of successful titles that remain among the most well-known racing games of their generation to this day.
