Frima Studio

Frima Studio is a Canadian game development studio founded in 2003 in Québec. It is one of the largest independent game studios in Canada and develops games for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile devices. In addition to its own brands, it also contributes to the development of major licensed titles for leading global publishers.

The studio achieved its greatest success with the tactical RPG Disciples: Liberation, which continues the legendary Disciples series. The game features the dark fantasy world of Nevendaar, turn-based combat, exploration of vast locations, the recruitment of allies, and a story shaped by the player’s decisions.

Another successful title is the co-op platformer Chariot, in which two players work together to steer the royal chariot through a labyrinth of underground caves. The game has gained popularity thanks to its original physics-based gameplay, logic puzzles and humour.

Other well-known projects from the studio include the strategy game Zombie Tycoon, the mobile game Disney Magic Kingdoms, and collaborations on games such as Young Justice: Legacy, Big Hero 6: Bot Fight, Looney Tunes Dash! and Asterix & Obelix: Heroes. Thanks to its broad portfolio, Frima Studio has experience in developing action, strategy, adventure and family games.
