Brand's website: Hothouse Creations

Hothouse Creations was a British games studio founded in 1996 in Bristol. It focused primarily on developing sports, racing and licensed games for PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PC and other platforms. During its existence, it collaborated with major publishers such as Eidos Interactive, SCi Games, Empire Interactive and Take-Two Interactive.

The studio achieved its greatest success with the video game adaptations of the popular TV quiz show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, which were released on several platforms and sold hundreds of thousands of copies. Other well-known projects include the football management series Premier Manager, the racing game Penny Racers, the action title Wild Metal Country and the space strategy game Deep Fighter.

Hothouse Creations was renowned for its ability to adapt successful television licences into video games and to create accessible titles for a wide audience. In addition, it was also involved in the development of original projects across various genres and earned a reputation as a reliable partner for major publishers.

In 2003, the studio ceased operations after running into financial difficulties. Nevertheless, Hothouse Creations left behind a number of games that are still fondly remembered today by fans of classic titles from the era of the first-generation PlayStation consoles and the early days of the PlayStation 2.
