Brand's website: iRock InteractiveiRock Interactive was a British games studio active in the late 1990s and early 2000s. It focused primarily on developing racing and action games for the PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and PC platforms, often collaborating with European publishers.
The studio is best known for the Big Mutha Truckers racing series, in which players transport cargo across the United States, trade goods and compete against rival drivers. The game combined arcade-style driving with economic elements and a humorous approach, which helped it gain a large following.
Alongside its own projects, iRock Interactive was also involved in the development and technical support of other titles for consoles and PCs. The studio was known for its emphasis on smooth gameplay and its experience in porting games between different platforms.
Although it was not one of the largest British development studios, iRock Interactive left its mark, particularly amongst fans of arcade racing games and licensed titles from the early days of the PlayStation 2 era.
