Microsoft Studios

Microsoft Studios (now known as Xbox Game Studios) was Microsoft’s in-house game publishing division, founded in 2001 alongside the launch of the first Xbox console. Its primary goal was to create exclusive games for the Xbox and Windows platforms and to build strong game brands that would come to symbolize the entire Xbox family.
