Next Level Games

Next Level Games is a Canadian games studio founded in 2002 in Vancouver. Since its inception, it has focused on developing high-quality games for Nintendo consoles and, thanks to its long-standing collaboration, has become one of the company’s most important external partners. In 2021, the studio was acquired by Nintendo and became a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Its first major success was the arcade football game Super Mario Strikers, followed by the sequel Mario Strikers Charged. However, the studio gained worldwide recognition primarily thanks to the games Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon (Luigi’s Mansion 2) and Luigi’s Mansion 3, which are among the highest-rated exclusives for Nintendo consoles.

In addition to these titles, the studio has also developed Punch-Out!! for the Nintendo Wii, Metroid Prime: Federation Force and the latest Mario Strikers: Battle League. Games from Next Level Games stand out for their polished gameplay, technical execution, original animations and distinctive humour.
