Pipeworks Software
Brand's website: Pipeworks SoftwarePipeworks Software was an American games studio founded in 1999 in Eugene, Oregon. Throughout its existence, the studio focused primarily on developing games on commission for major publishers and became renowned for its ability to work with popular franchises across various platforms.
It achieved its first major success with the Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters series, which won over fans of giant monsters with its city destruction, battles between iconic kaiju and entertaining multiplayer gameplay. Pipeworks later also created the game Godzilla: Save the Earth and, years later, returned to the franchise with the title Godzilla for PlayStation 4.
The studio also contributed to the development of several instalments in the WWE series, including WWE 2K15, WWE 2K16 and WWE 2K17 for older consoles. Other well-known projects include Zumba Fitness, Zumba Fitness Rush, The Price Is Right, Family Game Night, Deadliest Catch: Sea of Chaos, MX vs. ATV Alive and Carnival Games VR.
Pipeworks Software has developed games for a wide range of platforms, including PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Switch and PC. Thanks to this versatility, the studio has built a reputation as a reliable partner for major publishing companies.
In 2020, the studio was renamed Far Bridge following its acquisition by Foundation 9 Entertainment and subsequently became part of BAM! Entertainment. Nevertheless, the name Pipeworks Software remains associated amongst gamers primarily with licensed games, sports titles and the unforgettable battles featuring the giant Godzilla.
