Starbreeze Studios is a Swedish game development studio founded in 1998 in Stockholm. It is one of Europe’s leading developers of action games and has made a name for itself primarily through its sophisticated first-person shooters, co-operative titles and story-driven adventures. The company has been listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange since 2000.

Its first major success was the action game Enclave, which captivated players with its combination of a fantasy setting, RPG elements and dynamic combat.
