Torus Games

Torus Games is an Australian games studio founded in 1994 in Melbourne. It is one of the longest-running independent studios in Australia and, throughout its history, has created more than 150 games for a wide range of platforms, including PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox, Nintendo Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, Wii, Nintendo Switch and PC.

The studio has built a strong reputation through the development of licensed games for well-known brands. Its most successful titles include the Ben 10 series, Monster Jam, Scooby-Doo! First Frights, Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Swamp, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Blades of Thunder, Star Wars Episode I: Racer (Game Boy Color), Petz, Paw Patrol Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay and Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures.

Alongside licensed projects, Torus Games also develops its own games. For example, the adventure game Override 2: Super Mech League (collaboration on console versions) and the original roguelike World of Demons have been major successes. The studio has long focused on high-quality family games, racing titles, platformers and action-adventure games.

With over thirty years’ experience, Torus Games has collaborated with leading publishers such as Activision, THQ, Warner Bros. Games, Outright Games, Ubisoft, Konami, Sega, 2K and Disney Interactive.

Even today, Torus Games remains one of Australia’s most respected studios and continues to develop games for modern consoles and PCs. Its work is renowned for its high technical quality and a wide range of titles for players of all ages.
