Volcanicc

Volcanicc is a Slovak independent development studio founded in 2015 and based in Bratislava. The studio was founded by Lukáš Sedlák and Rastislav Polenkovič with the aim of creating original action games inspired by classic arcade games and modern roguelite titles.

The studio’s best-known project is HELLMUT: The Badass from Hell, a fast-paced action roguelite shooter set in procedurally generated dungeons full of demons and traps. Players collect weapons, unlock new transformations with unique abilities, and face different challenges with every playthrough. Thanks to its fast-paced gameplay, high difficulty and distinctive humour, the game has won over fans of indie action titles.

Alongside developing its own games, the studio has also worked on experimental projects and collaborated with other developers. Following the release of HELLMUT: The Badass from Hell, the team has focused primarily on custom development and prototyping new game concepts.

Volcanicc is known for its emphasis on dynamic action, high replay value and close communication with the gaming community. Although it is a small independent studio, it has managed to make a name for itself on the international scene thanks to the original execution of its debut project.

Thanks to the game HELLMUT: The Badass from Hell, Volcanicc is one of Slovakia’s best-known independent game studios. Their title is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
