Warhorse
Brand's website: WarhorseWarhorse Studios is a Czech game studio founded in 2011 in Prague. The studio was founded by experienced developers Daniel Vávra and Martin Klíma with the goal of creating a historically accurate RPG without fantasy elements. Thanks to its emphasis on realism, a strong story, and an authentic portrayal of the Middle Ages, the studio has earned recognition from players around the world.
It achieved its greatest success with the Kingdom Come: Deliverance series, which transports players to the Kingdom of Bohemia in the early 15th century. The game features a vast open world, a realistic combat system, historically accurate locations, and a well-developed story based on real events.
In 2019, Warhorse Studios became part of PLAION (formerly Koch Media), which enabled the studio to continue its growth. The success of the first game was followed by the sequel, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, which further expands the world, the story, and the gameplay mechanics.
Warhorse Studios is now one of the most prominent Czech game studios and a symbol of high-quality domestic game development. Players appreciate their games above all for realistic RPG elements, historical authenticity, a well-developed story, and the unique atmosphere of medieval Bohemia.
