WhiteMoon Dreams

WhiteMoon Dreams is an independent American development studio founded in 2009, which specialises in developing original arcade and action games for consoles, PCs and mobile devices. The studio has gained attention primarily thanks to its inventive game mechanics and the use of physical principles in gameplay.

Its greatest success has come with the StarDrone series, which combines elements of arcade action, puzzle games and physics-based puzzles. Players control a space probe that moves using gravity, magnetic fields and other interactive elements. The sequel, StarDrone Extreme, introduced new levels, improved graphics and additional gameplay options.

Another well-known project from the studio is Gun Commando, an action shooter designed for the PlayStation Move motion controller, in which players take down waves of enemies in a futuristic setting. The studio has also been involved in other smaller projects for digital distribution platforms.

WhiteMoon Dreams is known for experimenting with unconventional game mechanics, an emphasis on physics, fast-paced gameplay and support for motion controls. Its games have gained a following, particularly amongst fans of original indie titles.
