Yippee! Entertainment a Raylight Games

Yippee! Entertainment and Raylight Games are European development studios which, alongside their own original titles, also specialise in porting, remastering and adapting games for modern consoles. Their experience includes titles for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC and older gaming systems.

The British Yippee! Entertainment is based in Manchester and was founded in 2011. The studio has made a name for itself amongst gamers primarily through its work on modernised versions of classic strategy games. Its well-known projects include Commandos 2 HD Remaster and Praetorians HD Remaster, which brought the original strategy games from Pyro Studios to modern platforms.

The Italian Raylight Games has significantly more experience in development and technologies for games consoles. The studio has worked on its own games as well as on technical development, porting and optimisation of titles from other companies. Throughout its history, it has created games for Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms.

Both studios have experience in porting older titles to current-generation hardware. Such projects require adapting the original graphics, user interface, controls and technical aspects of the game to match the capabilities of modern consoles.
