ZeniMax Online Studios

ZeniMax Online Studios is an American game development studio founded in 2007 and based in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The studio is part of ZeniMax Media (now owned by Microsoft) and was founded with the aim of expanding the famous world of The Elder Scrolls into a massive online MMORPG.

The studio’s largest and best-known project is The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), which was released in 2014. The game is set approximately a thousand years before the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and allows players to explore almost the entire continent of Tamriel. Players can look forward to hundreds of story quests, vast dungeons, raids (Trials), PvP battles in the region of Cyrodiil, crafting, trading and a sophisticated character progression system.
