Game Detroit: Become Human is inspired by the 2012 short game "Kara". The game is a neo-noir thriller set in the near future, in the city of Detroit. Androids that look exactly like human beings have replaced them in most roles, they are workers, nannies, gardeners, nurses, teachers, salesmen and perform many other jobs. The story opens with an unexplained incident that began to affect the androids. Some go missing without a trace, others exhibit unusual behavior and strange signs of emotion. Rumors of deviant Andorids begin to spread, but no one knows exactly what is really going on.
