PS1 Rugrats: Studio Tour is a video game released by THQ for the Sony PlayStation (PS1) in 1999. This game, like Rugrats: Search for Reptar, is based on the popular children's animated series Rugrats by Nickelodeon.
In Rugrats: Studio Tour, characters from the series such as Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil and Angelica get lost in a movie studio during a field trip. Players are tasked with navigating the characters through various movie sets, based on different genres of films such as westerns, sci-fi and horror, looking for lost items so they can get home.
Players can play as different characters and each level contains different mini-games and tasks to complete. Many of these tasks involve finding keys that open up new areas and continuing the story.
Rugrats: Studio Tour is designed for younger players with simple controls, playful graphics and an atmosphere that faithfully reproduces the series.
