PS1 Music, also known as "Music: Music Creation For The PlayStation", is a music simulation game released for the PlayStation platform in November 1998. The game was published by Codemasters and developed by Jester Interactive Publishing.
The game Music allows players to create complete songs from a library of 850 pre-recorded riffs by placing them on a set of tracks. At its core, the game is similar to sound editing software on the computer and offers impressive depth, including controls for panning, volume and all sorts of effects such as phase, reverb and vibrato.
The game also includes a visual effects editor that can be customized to accompany your own masterpieces, or move to the beat of any of your own audio CDs. Even in the video editor, many variations can be found with controls for text, particle effects, cameras, etc.
