Formula 1 for PlayStation 1 (PS1) is a racing simulator that was released in 1996. The game was developed by Bizarre Creations and published by Psygnosis. It was one of the first video games to offer fully licensed Formula 1 content, including teams, drivers and tracks from the 1995 season. Formula 1 was highly praised for its authenticity, detailed graphics and realistic physics, allowing players to experience the thrill of the highest class of motor racing.
The game offers several game modes, including a fast-paced race, a full Grand Prix weekend, a time trial and a championship. In Championship mode, players can experience an entire Formula One season, racing on various tracks around the world in an attempt to win the World Championship. "Formula 1" also allows players to customize their car settings, including aerodynamics, chassis settings and tire selection, adding depth and realism to the simulation.
