PS2 Ghost Rider is an action game set after the events of the movie of the same name, which is in turn based on a Marvel Comics character.

You are Johnny Blaze, who for some reasons sold his soul to a demon named Mephisto. Now some villainous demons have escaped from Hell and Mephisto must destroy them before they cause him trouble. If you don't, he'll take your girlfriend back to hell.

Ghost Rider attacks with his flaming chains of hellfire in a similar fashion to God of War. If he uses different moves and avoids getting hit, he takes revenge. The more he fills this meter, the more souls he gains from the enemies he kills. Souls are used to buy new moves and accessories. There are a few shielded enemies where you must have minimal vengeance to damage them. There is also a water meter, which is basically a special meter and is also built by attacking. It allows you to use special moves like your shotgun.
