After Jak and Daxter once again save Haven City, they find themselves poisoned and forced to participate in an international car race held at the will of the Krewe in the PS2 game JAK X.

Featuring more than a dozen customizable vehicles designed with unique driving characteristics, players will race on 20 tracks in eight different off-road arenas. With an assortment of upgrades available including firearms, mines, ranged weapons, turbo boosts, shields and smart bombs, players should have the resources needed to ensure they cross the finish line first.

The game supported both offline and online multiplayer. Offline multiplayer is usually two-player split-screen multiplayer. Online multiplayer could be played with up to five other players. Both modes featured the same types of gameplay as the single-player game, except that human players were replaced by artificial intelligence. The online servers for this game were currently closed.
