Ratchet: Gladiator is an action shooter game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2 console in 2005. The game is part of the Ratchet & Clank franchise and offers a new take on the adventures of the protagonist Ratchet.

The main objective of the game is to participate in galactic races and duels in a virtual arena environment. The player takes on the role of Ratchet, who is forced to fight in a racing tournament called DreadZone alongside other dangerous fighters. Ratchet must survive various challenges, gain experience and weapons, and advance in the tournament.

Throughout the game, the player moves around different arenas and completes missions that include racing, fighting enemies, and crafting and upgrading weapons. The game features a wide variety of exotic weapons such as explosive rocket launchers, machine guns and electrically charged weapons. The player can also make use of Ratchet's various abilities such as jumping, climbing and using special items.
