The Colin McRae Rally series is one of the most popular rally simulations on the market. Colin McRae Rally 2005 for PS2 offers a brand new career mode compared to previous instalments. This takes the player through more than 20 different events, including Championship Series events. There is again a wide range of (more than 30) rally vehicles of all classes, including both two and four-wheel drive vehicles. These include the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA, Alfetta GTV Turbodelta, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII, Peugeot 206, 205 T16 Evo2 and VW Beetle Rsi. The tracks are located in 9 countries (Germany, USA, Japan, Sweden, Finland, Australia, Spain, UK, Greece), with each country having 8 long sections. CMR 2005 offers more detailed vehicles and finally some interaction with the environment next to the track. So it should no longer be the case that the player stops against the tape around the track like a wall when exiting the track. Online support on PC, PS2, and XBOX is not to be missed either.
