Tony Hawk's Underground is a skateboarding video game developed by Neversoft and released by Activision in October 2003 for PlayStation 2 (PS2) and other platforms. This game is the fifth installment in the popular Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series of games and brings several innovations and changes over previous titles.

The main change in Tony Hawk's Underground is the focus on the story mode, in which players create their own skater and work their way up the career ladder from amateur skater to professional skater. The game takes place in various cities and skateparks around the world such as New York, Tampa, San Diego and Moscow.
