In Assassin's Creed II, you will find yourself in the historical setting of Renaissance Italy as Ezio Auditore da Firenze, a young nobleman who has joined the secret Assassin's Brotherhood. Your goal is to avenge the death of your family and uncover the conspiratorial plans of the Knights Templar.

The game features an open world that includes several Italian cities such as Florence, Venice and Rome. You can freely explore the cities, climb buildings, jump over rooftops and sneak around in crowds.
