The original God of War series may be over, but you have another chance to experience a bloody adventure with Kratos. God of War: Ascension takes place before the first installment and shows how Kratos the man became the ruthless god of war.

The story tells how Ares tricked him into killing his child and wife, and he decided to take revenge. The main gameplay will of course be intense action that will not let you catch your breath.

Become the champion of the gods with the new multiplayer. From the position of the most recent warrior, advance in the rankings, gain the favour of the gods and with it new equipment, weapons and abilities. Have fun alone or as part of a team and become a feared Legend of Olympus. The revamped weapon and combat system will quickly get into your blood, so you'll soon be one with Kratos.

New skills open up original ways to play, including custom combinations and strategies. Freeze your enemies and use time control to destroy them completely. Dozens of different combinations and obstacles to overcome will engage not only your fingers, but also your brain threads.

Your eyes will also come into their own, as the developers promise the most visually accomplished game in the series to date.
