Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, as well as later platforms and mobile devices, the game introduces DC Comics characters in a grand and alternate universe where superheroes and villains clash in an epic conflict.

The game features a rich story mode that guides players through a dramatic narrative based on the power struggle and divide between the characters of the DC universe. The main plot revolves around Superman, who, after losing Lois Lane and their unborn child to the Joker, takes an authoritarian stance and establishes a new regime to make the world a "safer" place.
