Aliens: Colonial Marines for PlayStation 3 is a first-person action shooter set in the iconic Alien universe. The game follows the story of the movie Aliens and puts you in the role of a USCM marine sent to investigate the USS Sulaco spaceship and planet LV-426 after the events of the movie. You'll face various types of xenomorphs and human enemies, with an iconic arsenal at your disposal, including pulse rifles, shotguns, grenade launchers, and, of course, a motion detector. The atmosphere tries to evoke the feel of the movie through music, weapon sounds, and environments familiar from the original.

The game includes both a single-player campaign and a cooperative mode for up to four players online, where you can complete story missions together. There are also multiplayer modes where players can side with the marines or the aliens.
