PS3 F1 2011

F1 2011 is the sequel to Codemasters' BAFTA award-winning video game in association with Formula One World Championship Limited and will feature all the official drivers, teams and circuits that featured in the 2011 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP season.

With a new and improved mutliplayer including co-op mods and a split screen mode, players in F1 2011 will be challenged to "be a driver, live life and race" using a wide range of technical and gameplay enhancements on and off the track and benefit from greatly expanded competitive and co-operative multiplayer elements.

F1 2011 will feature all the official teams, drivers and circuits from the highly anticipated 2011 FIA Formula One World Championship, including reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel. The 2011 season will also see the debut of the Indian Grand Prix at the Jaypee International Circuit and the return of the iconic Nürburgring.

F1 2011 is being developed by Codemasters using the EGO Game Technology Platform and will deliver an unrivalled Formula 1 experience that takes players into the heart of the world's most exciting sport, using state-of-the-art graphics and with advanced physics systems.

Gameplay Features

Come racing! F1 2011 builds on the multiplayer of F1 2010, but offers so much more. Split-screen racing will be made in High-Definition for the first time in F1 video game history. Multiplayer online racing is expanded to 16 players in Grand Prix races, simulating a full 24-driver circuit with up to 8 AI drivers. An innovative co-op mod allows two players to lead their favourite Formula 1 team throughout the season!

New circuits for 2011. Two stunning new circuits bring the total to 19. Players will be able to debut at the Buddh International Circuit in India and experience the iconic Nürburgring circuit in high definition for the first time, which returns for the 2011 season.

Be the driver, live the life. Players will experience what it's like to be a real F1 driver like never before. The new Parc Ferme, the expanded and redesigned Paddock, the new Pit Lane and the celebrations and reactions of your fans and the media will allow players to completely immerse themselves in the magic of this life. Players will progress from rookie, through pilots to the actual winner of the entire Grand Prix.

All cars, all stars. F1 2011 features all of the drivers who will also feature in the 2011 FIA Formula One World Championship, including Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Michael Schumacher and Jenson Button. At the same time, all the teams of this exciting season are represented, including Ferrari, Red Rull Racing, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes and or Lotus Renault GP in the iconic black and gold.

KERS, DRS and more! F1 2011 includes all the new rule changes that have taken place this season. F1 2011 sees the debut of DRS (Drag Reduction System), a new system that allows the driver to adjust the rear wing. KERS also returns, giving the driver 80BHP for up to 6.67 seconds. The combination of these systems allows players to experience truly close wheel-to-wheel battles. The new Pirelli tyres will also be in play and players can experience a number of new punctures if they drive too hard.

Racing all day and all night. The racing at the FORMULE 1 ETHIAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX circuit comes alive with the transition between day and night, which adds to the special atmosphere of this unique track. Each of the existing 2010 circuits has been completely visually redesigned.

The most exciting races on the best cars in the world. F1 2011 will be enjoyed by both die-hard fans, through hardcore simulations, and casual gamers with standard driving experience. A huge variety of vehicles will be transformed to suit each player's unique driving style and preferences. In addition, F1 2011 will support all racing tyres for the ultimate racing experience.

Unrivalled authenticity. The development team has worked closely with FORMULA ONE teams, tyre manufacturers and a range of FORMULA ONE experts, including engineers, mechanics and drivers. They combined all of this with CAD data and on-board telemetry to deliver a complete racing experience with authentic refinement, precise circuits and race cars as you only know them from FORMULA ONE

EGO Powered. F1 2011 is developed on the EGO Game Technology Platform, the successor to the EGO Engine, which allows developers to realize their creative visions, incorporating state-of-the-art graphics, powerful AI, advanced systems and integrated networks.
