PS3 Epic Mickey: The Power of Two

In Epic Mickey 2: Double Hit for PS3, you'll not only play as Mickey Mouse, but for the first time as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Disney's first animated star. A brand-new adventure of creation and discovery awaits you, courtesy of gaming prophet Warren Spector and the top developers at Disney Interactive's Junction Point game studio.

In this game, Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit return to the Wasteland, an alternate world filled with 80 forgotten Disney characters and attractions. For the first time, however, Mickey and Osvald team up as true partners - Mickey takes on evil armed with a magic paintbrush that wields both paint and paint thinner. Osvald, on the other hand, uses a remote control to manipulate electricity. The new, cooperative style of play is accompanied by improved game physics, further proving that "game style matters". This new and novel approach to gameplay, championed by Warren Spector, allows you to dynamically overcome various obstacles and take advantage of all the possibilities and storylines. These change depending on how you solve problems and what actions you take.

The colourful game world is rendered in HD graphics and the system fully supports PlayStation Move control.

You can play as Oswald the rabbit in two-player co-op mode, which you can join and disconnect from at any time. With Osvald helping Mickey on his travels, both protagonists will have a much better time playing.

Most of the game's characters are voiced by actors who lend their voices elsewhere. The only exception is Osvald, who speaks here for the first time ever.

In the brand new levels, you'll encounter forgotten Disney characters and attractions, but they're affected by the events that scarred the entire Wasteland. The new two-dimensional levels are based on classic Disney films and fairy tales and offer colorful and fun puzzle and "bouncy" gameplay.

The original script for the game was written by famed American comic book writer Marv Wolfman and Junction Point. A variety of new and familiar characters appear to guide you through the rich Disney history, while old and new enemies test your wits and preparedness.

Epic Mickey 2: Double Hit is the first game that could be described as "musical". At some points, the plot will have you singing along. The music and lyrics are also Disney-esque, and you'll be able to change the tunes and musical instruments at will. Eventually, you'll be able to create your own soundtrack as well.
