Released in 2012 for PlayStation 3, Game of Thrones is based on George R.R. Martin's popular A Song of Ice and Fire series of books and is also based on the HBO television series of the same name. The game was created by French developer Cyanide Studio and published by Atlus.

Game of Thrones is set in a parallel story to the events of the first season of the series, around the time of the start of the War of the Iron Throne. Players follow the stories of two different characters - Morse Westford, a veteran of the Night's Watch, and Alester Sarwyck, a red priest and former knight who returns to Westeros after a long exile. Each character has their own perspective on the events, giving players a deeper look into the world and events of the series.

The game is a typical RPG game where players can modify their characters' stats and skills to improve them as the game progresses. The game also features a decision-making system where players' choices affect the course and end of the game.
