Assassin's Creed: Syndicate is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. The game was released in October 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The story is set in Victorian London in 1868 and follows the two main characters, twins Jacob and Evie Frye, who are members of the Brotherhood of Assassins, as they try to free London from the Templars. Assassin's Creed: Syndicate brings new elements to the series, including the ability to switch between two main characters, each with their own unique abilities and story.

The game features an expansive open world that recreates historic London in detail, from densely populated streets to famous landmarks such as Big Ben, Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace. Players can explore the city on foot, using horse-drawn carriages, or take advantage of the newly introduced cable hook system to move quickly between buildings. Assassin's Creed: Syndicate also introduces new combat mechanics and ways to control street gangs, with which players can battle Templars for control of different parts of the city.
