Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure video game developed by Bend Studio and released by Sony Interactive Entertainment exclusively for PlayStation 4 in April 2019. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic Oregon that has been devastated by a global pandemic. Players take on the role of Deacon St. John, a former biker gang member and veteran who now struggles to survive in a harsh and dangerous world as a bounty hunter.

In Days Gone, players explore the vast open world either on foot or on a motorcycle, which serves as the main mode of transportation and can be modified and upgraded. The world is filled with dangerous freakers (infected humans who have become zombie-like), wild animals, and other survivors who often pose as much of a threat as the infected.
