The end of the 19th century in America also brought the end of a popular era, the Wild West era. But that doesn't mean that the infamous outlaw gangs no longer roam the neighborhood. One of them is the Van der Linde gang, of which Arthur Morgan is a member and will be your protagonist for the rest of the game. However, the ending era of the Wild West brings with it unfortunate pitfalls for the gangs. Aside from the decline of these gangs, there are bounty hunters and federal agents who are out to get you and your gang. Throughout the game, you're classically trying to rob and pillage wherever you can, but on top of that, you're also constantly on the run from said bounty hunters.
