Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an action RPG developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game was released for the PlayStation 4 console and other platforms, and continues the story that began in the previous game, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.

The game is set in J.R.R. Tolkien’s world, known from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Players take on the role of Talion, a ranger killed and resurrected by the spirit of Celebrimbor, an elf-smith. Together, they embark on a journey to Mordor, where they seek to defeat the Dark Lord Sauron and his minions. The main feature of the game is the Nemesis system, which allows players to build their own army of orcs and gain allies and enemies among various orc commanders.
