Call of Duty: WWII is an action first-person shooter developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. This game was released in 2017 and is the 14th main title in the Call of Duty series. The game returned to the roots of the series with a return to the World War II setting where the series originally began.

The main story campaign takes place between 1944 and 1945, and players follow the story of Private Ronald "Red" Daniels, a member of the US Army's 1st Infantry Division.
